Vadas

Vadas are fun ocassionally and again I stay away from these as they are deep-fried. After about a year, I made these vadas when we had guests over and these are the first time they look so good!

Mysore masala dosa

I am not sure why I didn't try this earlier at home, but recently made this easy, yummy mysore masala dosa for a weekend dinner and it turned out great! I am not a fan of cooking only one-side of the dosa, but this one did fine as the dosas were spread thin.



White pumpkin stew!

At home we call it moru kootan, it's also called moru kozhambu. Call it what you want, but this yogurt based curry is simply yummy with plain white rice! Perfect for a weekend lunch!
